Aaaand it’s a wrap

What an amazing weekend!

A huge thank you to all our speakers for the time and effort they poured into their presentations, they were amazing! Also a big shout out to our sponsors – we couldn’t have done it without you. And then there is to you our attendees – you were a stellar crowd. We hope you had as good a time attending as we had hosting you.

On behalf of the organising team I’d like to give particular thanks to @tareiking and @rklis who organised WordCamp Auckland last year and helped out massively before and during the conference. Also to @ricky.blacker for carting the video gear in all the way from Brisbane. What a wonderful bunch of individuals.

You will learn about the process and tools she used to automate bespoke WordPress theme design and development entirely.

Talia Carbis is a teacher, artist and mother from Brisbane, Australia.
She has been using WordPress since 2005 in many capacities including blogging (personally and professionally) and consulting.

Talia will focus on diversity:

  • What role do we play in encouraging diversity as WordPress users, developers, employers, and contributors?
  • How can we improve diversity?
